Mussab Ali announces 100k Raised in the First 48 Hours of Campaign

The campaign reports 100k Donated and Pledged in the first 48 Hours of the Campaign

Jersey City, NJ - Today, former Jersey City BOE President announced that in the first two days of his campaign, he has amassed $100,000 in contributions and pledges for his Jersey City Mayoral campaign.

Ali announced his campaign earlier this week. This Sunday, Ali will hold a campaign kickoff and media availability at Sergeant Anthony Park in Jersey City at 2 pm after completing the Jersey City marathon.

Mussab made the following statement: “I cannot be more thankful for the outpouring of support we have received over the past 48 hours. As a kid from Jersey City, to see the level of enthusiasm and commitment from our community is both humbling and inspiring. This incredible start is a clear sign that the residents of Jersey City are ready for change and believe in our vision of building a #JerseyCityForAll.”

Mussab Ali is the former JC BOE President, education non-profit founder, and cancer survivor. The son of immigrants, Mussab was raised and educated in Jersey City public schools. A graduate of McNair, Rutgers, Tsinghua, and Harvard Law, Mussab founded the Ali Leadership Institute to equip activists, organizers, and community leaders with the necessary skills for effective civic participation at the local level.
